In Memoriam - Roslyn Solomon
On 10Oct26, you might have felt a shift in the universe as the wonderful spirit Roslyn Solomon left our physical world on her own terms held and surrounded by her loving family. Even though Roslyn knew her life would be regrettably cut short, the courage and the dignity with which she faced her fate was a true lesson in faith and courage. For six years I had the honor to co-facilitate with Roslyn the monthly Virtual Learning Sessions* produced by the National Mentorship Movement and the Global Association of the Society for Organizational Learning. Roslyn explicitly requested that these Virtual Learning Sessions continue - and they will. Poet John O’Donohue wrote a poem called “On the Death of the Beloved”. The last seven lines of the poem are shared here with you for our Beloved Roslyn.
“May you continue to inspire us:
To enter each day with a generous heart.
To serve the call of courage and love
Until we see your beautiful face again
In that land where there is no more separation,
Where all tears will be wiped from our mind,
And where we will never lose you again.”
We will miss and forever feel your presence Roslyn.
